Different Virtual World - Jung Bae Chi

This was a virtual world called the remote island. And it had a serene and tranquil environment. It reflected the winter season we were undergoing, so I was curious whether the meshmoon synchronizes with the time line of our computer.

There was a post regarding the Boston College Virtual Learning in the remote island. It seems like the map has been made by the Boston College Immersive Ed staff. I enjoyed the wide landscape.

Hair Hero Salon was a bit lagging. My computer could not completely download the landscape or the landscape itself was not made well. There weren't alot of things to look around in this virtual world.

This is also Hair Hero Salon. I stumbled upon a yellow building not far away from the original building I started off. Again, it didn't download well and the landscape was very simple.

The lunar virtual world was constantly changing. I assume my computer couldn't complete intake the constant movement, which is the reason why the landscape was shattered.

Again, this was lunar landscape and the world is constantly changing. The background and color kept swirling.

This was a German Fire Fighting Museum. I was particularly impressed with the details of each object. The space was small, so I didn't have to walk around a lot to explore.

Again, the fighting museum had great details. The old fashioned car was meticulously crafted or programmed.

This was my personally favorite site. The circus allowed me to access into other character and roam around. This is the view from outside the circus tent. The flow of the character's movement was much more natural and the site was meticulously designed.

Again, this is the circus site. Interestingly, I was able to do quests like a RPG game. I got a sense how we can communicate or learn from Immersive Ed by roaming around this site. The Meshmoon allows one to experience interactive virtual world, which allows us to learn materials by undergoing certain quests.
This was the Under Wave site and it was relatively small landscape. However, the idea of being under the water and the design was impressive.

I like how the map-maker can make a very creative virtual world. The users have fun exploring the new world and the content inside each virtual world is worth exploring.

Hello, My Name is JungBae Chi

Hello My name is Jung Bae Chi and I'm a junior in A&S department. I'm an international student originally from Seoul, South Korea. I'm majoring in economics, and I want to learn more about the web and software development through this class. I love to watch football and basketball, and I also enjoying playing both sports when I have free time. I enjoy listening to hip-hop music and hope we make the best out of this class.
